OK, I don't know how I didn't kow about this before. Google SMS (short message service) is so useful and apparently free. Send a text message regarding movie times, weather, directions, etc. to GOOGL (46645) and get info just about instantly. My friend Matt will catch a break from me as I often call him on the road asking "are you online right now?" Now I'll just call him and tell him how google just saved me a call...
